Sai Sokhoeurn, an English Teacher at PCEF-Organization

My name is Sai Sokhoeurn, and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Lvea Village, Trapang Thom Commune, a rural community where access to education has always been limited and challenging. For children like me, the dream of continuing school beyond the basics often felt out of reach. However, with determination—and the life-changing support from the Pagna Cambodian Education Fund (PCEF)—I have been able to pursue my studies and create a path toward a brighter future.

In 2025, I proudly began serving as a teacher at PCEF, an opportunity that holds deep meaning for me. I was once a PCEF student myself, and the guidance, encouragement, and educational support I received shaped who I am today. Returning as a teacher allows me to give back to my community, share knowledge with younger students, and inspire the next generation of children—just as I was once inspired. Teaching is more than a role for me; it is a way of honoring the opportunities I was given and ensuring that others can follow the same path.

My dream is to continue my own education and attend university, where I hope to study [insert your chosen field/major if you want me to include it]. By gaining higher education, I believe I can expand my knowledge, become a stronger role model, and contribute even more to the development of my community. However, achieving this dream is not possible without support. I am currently seeking a sponsor to help me continue my university studies. With this support, I will be able to reach my goals, graduate, and return the gift of education to many more children in Kampong Phluk and beyond.

I truly believe that education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and transform lives. My journey with PCEF is proof of that. With the knowledge I gain and the opportunities I receive, I am committed to giving back and building a future where every child in my community has the chance to learn, grow, and dream.
